A taxi driver was robbed at gun point in Riverhead on Christmas Eve and the suspect remains at large, Riverhead Town police said.
Police responded to a report of a robbery at the intersection of Old Farm Road and Arrowhead Avenue at 6:52 p.m., police said. The only description of the suspect is a white man with a thin build wearing dark clothing, police said.
The suspect stole money and a cell phone from the taxi driver and then fled on foot, police said. Police conducted a search of the area but could not locate the suspect.
