Eleven Shoreham-Wading River High School students will pursue college athletics next year. The students, who range from playing lacrosse to field hockey to volleyball, were honored at a signing ceremony Monday night in the high school library.
The students were:
- Emily Anderson, swimming: UMass
- Jon Constant, lacrosse: Marist
- Isabella Cortes, lacrosse: West Point
- Jason Curran, lacrosse: Brown
- Brianna Fischetti, field hockey: SUNY Cortland
- Rebecca Nolan, lacrosse: Tiffin
- Kaitlyn Ohrtman, cross country/track: Iona
- Emma Thomas, field hockey: Drew
- Haley Wehr, volleyball: Malloy
- Chelsea Werner, acrobatic/tumbling: Quinnipiac
- Zach White, baseball: New York Institute of Technology
