Last year the Children’s Museum of the East End came to Riverside to host classes with the help of grant funding. This year — even without the grant — they’re back.
The Bridgehampton-based organization will be back in Riverside for a second year starting Tuesday, holding an eight-week arts program. The group is launching the program using its own funding this time around.
“We had so much fun here,” said Liz Bard, the museum’s education coordinator, at Saturday’s “Art at the Park” event in Riverside. “It was such a great time.”
The group already has about 20 to 25 kids registered for art and dance and music.
The program is held at the Riverside Rediscovered office on Peconic Avenue from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays from Oct. 20 to Dec. 8 for children ages 2 to 5 and on Wednesdays from Oct. 21 to Dec. 9 for children age 6 to 9.
