A 30-year-old Riverside man was arrested on a bench warrant Friday for failing to appear in court to face several charges that date back to 2007, Southampton Town police said.
Francisco Pablo failed to appear in court for charges of sexual abuse, forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child along with five other charges, police said. He was arrested about 7 p.m. Friday at his house, police said. He had failed to appear in court July 3, 2007.
He was held overnight to be brought into court this morning.
Police did not specify why it took seven years to track down Mr. Pablo.
